Most of Faye Wong’s songs are a little peculiar. Especially so when it’s new to the ears. But the longer one listens to her songs, the better it sounds. Just a personal opinion.
阳宝 Yáng Bǎo (Precious Sunshine / Sunflower)
I noticed, from the above vid, that Faye is a left-hander.
不留 Bù Liú (Leave Nothing)
Faye is extremely versatile. She carries any style well.

Faye’s best songs are sung in Mandarin, her native dialect. Her distinct voice remains unrivalled since her unofficial retirement from the entertainment circle.
She may not be extremely beautiful but she has her own character and style. I guess that is the trait that either we like or dislike her for. And her voice is incomparable.
One of the songs that I enjoy listening to, sung by Faye Wong
The above song was originally sung by 窦唯 (Dou Wei) in his days with the band 黑豹 (Black Panther). It is equally good.
Another of 窦唯 (Dou Wei)’s work that I enjoy listening to. It is a little slow but the i find the chorus mesmerising.
He is Faye’s ex-partner and they have a daughter, Dou Jing Tung.
I love this song too. Unable to read difficult chinese characters, I usually refer to this song as the FIFO song because she wears a top with the words FIFO written across it. In accounting terms, FIFO means First-In-First-Out, a stock valuation method.
If you miss Faye Wong too, this blog contains recent movements of Faye Wong.
