Moving, the Japanese way.

Moving office in Japan. Where else can you find this sort of service and dedication?

2 words that i picked up from watching this vid and then doing a bit of research are
- Yatta at 2:51. It’s short for yarimashita, meaning “It’s done!”
- Otsukare-sama at 1:36. It means “Thank you for your hard work”. It’s a usual Japanese phrase heard in the workplace. Similar to “Xin ku ni le” in Mandarin.

It was such a coincidence that the Blue Man Group happened to be performing in Tokyo at the same time.

Initial reaction at 0:20 – Laugh out loud. It must’ve been painful but that doesn’t make it any less funny.

Something is not right

in this picture. It happens to me a lot.
Something is not right

a Lost World discovered

in Papua New Guinea and hopefully, preserved as it is.

It’s just amazing what is out there.

I just want milk

Getting milk can be a little overwhelming. Some of the selections available at the supermarket. Full-cream milk. Semi-skim milk. Skim milk. UHT milk. What are the differences in taste?

I picked this – UHT Homogenised Milk, whatever that means.

Milk

I’ve only ever drunk 2 types of milk on its own, in my life, disregarding baby milk. Milk powder, which was added into my Milo when i was a child. I no longer add anything to my Milo besides hot water. The other type is pasteurized milk, which is always found in the cold storage section.

It’s consumed cold and is tasteless when consumed within about 3 days and then a weird, milky taste surfaces. Milk is best tasteless. Not a milk person.

I did a little research and without being too technical, UHT milk are treated at very high temperatures and can be stored longer. Pasteurized milk are treated at below boiling temperature and has a shorter shelf life.

Never mess with the wild

Humans tend to think that they are invincible.

In the writer’s own words of the experience.

District 9

was worth watching. The most memorable scene was when Wikus was forced to operate the alien weapons in the lab and a live alien was used as the target. Take note of the confused and frightened look on the alien’s face, just before it was blown into pieces by alien weaponry.
Humans. When you’re it, everyone wants a piece of you.
