The food courts in Melbourne are pretty standard. Let’s take a look at what’s available at the food court in Chadstone Shopping Centre…
First up looks like a sandwich bar. Then there is Indian. Next door sells focaccia. Followed by Chinese. The Chinese food at the food court usually serve the same dishes. There is always a Beef in Black Bean Sauce, Lemon Chicken and Sweet & Sour Pork. And you have a choice of either Fried Rice, Steam Rice or Singapore Noodles to go with the dishes. It’s westernised Chinese food. Up next is Sicily which sells beverages and cakes. Cafe Moderno is Italian – pizza and pasta. Followed by Fish and Chips. Then another Chinese. Salsa next to it, is Mexican – nachos, burritos and fajitas. Next we have Japanese, mostly run and prepared by Chinese though. Lastly we have Greek – Souvlakis. Melbourne has the largest population of Greeks outside Greece.
