taking the Yamanote line to Shibuya. Notice the stationmaster towards the end of the vid, pointing. They all do that, as some sort of guide to themselves.

a fare adjustment machine. If you somehow paid a lesser fare due to last minute destination change or mistakes and can’t exit the gates, you can use the adjustment machine to make up the fare. They don’t intend to fine you. Useful for visitors who can’t work out the amount require from one station to another. Just pay the minimum fare and adjust on arrival.

tissue paper handers. these guys usually have a hard time finishing their handouts (several boxes) because most locals ignore them. i’m always happy to see them – free tissues. i’m sure they are happy to see me too – taken tissues.

Nothing fancy. Just seemed like a area full of short-term accommodation. Apparently, there has been clam down on love hotels in the recent few years.
