One Sweet Day

Boyz II Men’s best song, in my opinion. A song about death and being too late.

“Sorry, I never told you, all I wanted to say.
Now it’s too late to hold you. ‘
Cause you’ve flown away, so far away.

Never, Had I imagined, yeah, living without your smile.
Feelin’ and knowing you hear me.
It keeps me alive. Alive!

And I know you’re shining down on me from Heaven,
Like so many friends we’ve lost along the way,
And I know eventually we’ll be together.
One sweet day.

Picture a little scene from Heaven.

Darling, I never showed you.
Assumed you’d always be there.
I took your presence for granted.
But I always cared
And I miss the love we shared.

And I know you’re shining down on me from Heaven.
Like so many friends we’ve lost along the way.
And I know eventually we’ll be together.
One sweet day.

Picture a little scene from Heaven.

Although, the sun will never shine the same, I’ll
always look to a brighter day.

Yeah, Lord, I know, when I lay me down to sleep,
You’ll always listen, as I pray!

And I know you’re shining down on me from Heaven,
Like so many friends we’ve lost along the way,
And I know eventually we’ll be together.
One sweet day.

And I know you’re shining down on me from Heaven,
Like so many friends we’ve lost along the way,
And I know eventually we’ll be together.
One sweet day.

Sorry, I Never told you, all I wanted to say”

This place is run by Japanese, unlike some fakes. The food was quite authentic, nothing fancy but a little pricey for the portion.

Dou Wei

窦 唯‘s music may sound a little strange to many. I think it’s unique and original, yet pleasant. The best ones, in my opinion, are (in chronological order)…

Don’t Break My Heart from his Blank Panther days

噢 乖 (Oh Guai – Oh! Be good) from Dark Dreams

窗外 (Chuang Wai - Outside the window) from Sunny Days

雨吁 (Yu Xu – Rainy Murmur) from Rainy Murmur

It’s about knowing to appreciate good tunes.

Enchanting

wish for encounters like this

Close to You

by The Carpenters. A favourite classic.

La vie en rose

Heard this classic french song at a cafe on the weekend. Just wanted to find out the name of the song. You can find almost anything on the Internet as long as you have the patience and try hard enough, correct? Correct. Searched for ‘popular french song’ on Youtube. The vid was band playing this song but the name of the song was not stated. What do you do then? Scroll down to the comments. There it is. La vie en rose, originally sung by Edith Piaf.

sung by Sophie Milman

Bullfight

The final kill in a bullfight, by the matador.

An absurb cultural event.

Bull Run

Running of the Bulls in Pamplona, Spain.
You mess with the bull, you die. Nothing sad. Well-deserved.

It’s a pity that the bulls only managed to kill one idiot this year.
