(10 January 2009)
Coincidently, the annual Tokyo Auto Salon event was on while we were in Tokyo. An opportunity not to be missed. We knew from noticing a poster in Lawson’s where tickets can be pre-purchased. We took the JR Sobu Line (or was it Keiyo?) from Shinjuku and got off at Kaihin Makuhari Station, which is after the Disneyland Maihama Station.
QR code is commonly used in Japan. Don’t remember seeing this strange looking code on my last trip and have never seen this in Melbourne. I guess this differentiates the technologically advanced nations from the nots.

The expo is huge. There are East section, Centre section, West section and on top of that there are the outdoor drift demo and export section.
