Possums are generally seen as a nuisance in Australia. They wake you up in the middle of the night, pacing around noisily on the roof. I have also read about cases of possums finding their ways into kitchen cabinets in homes and scaring the living daylights of people when they open the cabinet door the next morning. But today i came across a new form of possum encounter, as reported on The Age.
This was Tim Fraser’s close encounter with a possum. The nearly-drowned possum had survived a crawl through the toilet pipe and emerged from the toilet bowl as Tim Fraser was doing his laundry nearby. He managed to capture this unusual episode.
